The two !! to right of Total PST indicate that PST has been applied as a tax on the Exclusive amount (retail price) plus GST tax on the retail price. When the apportionment calculator is opened, the row that has the focus always reflects the setting depicted in the Input base panel of the main calculator. Where a tax calculation has been completed in the main calculator and then where the Apportion button is clicked next, the apportionment calculator opens and an apportionment is made automatically on the percentage or ratio displayed. The same applies when the main calculator is set as an arithmetic calculator and arithmetic calculation has been completed. An apportionment is atomically completed when the basis is changed from a percent or ratio by a click on the % check box or the R check box that is applicable. The input base or starting point for an allocation can be set to a column and row that is visible. The number of visible rows is dependent on the tax setting used. When the apportionment calculator is opened, no automatic allotment is applied if the apportionment calculator is not opened after completing relevant type computation. To start an allotment, just enter a number and then click the relevant button (the Equals button) or keyboard’s Enter key when the main calculator is set as an arithmetic calculator, or the Calculate Tax button or keyboard’s Enter key when the main calculator is set as an tax calculator
